Biography
Nikki’s early work experience began in the financial services industry at TD Canada Trust where she occupied various roles. Her years spent in the banking sector are where she cultivated an aptitude for delivering seamless customer service experiences. Her career changed trajectory after pursuing studies in the healthcare field. She received her B.Pharm from University of Montreal in 2009 followed by her Master’s Degree in advanced pharmaceutical care for hospital practice (M.Sc) in 2011. She has been a staff pharmacist at the Jewish General Hospital since 2009, and also serves as an associate clinician for the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Université de Montréal. Having spent the majority of her career in the Emergency Department, she specializes in medication management in the acute setting. She has been involved in multiple projects promoting the proper use of medication and the implementation of protocols ensuring safe medication practices.
She is also a member of the CETAC clinic team, a group of doctors and healthcare professionals specializing in care related to the prevention of thrombosis and the management of anticoagulation. Drawing from her experience in healthcare, she has regularly witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of philanthropic giving on healthcare advancement. In her new role at PearTree, she is dedicated to helping drive the company’s mission of fostering more efficient philanthropy. Outside of her professional endeavors, Nikki enjoys skiing, skating, golfing and spending time outdoors. Additionally, she finds joy in serving as a member of the parents’ association executive committee and overseeing the parent volunteer program at her children’s’ school.
