Previously owned by the separate companies, NorthWest can now start to benefit from the synergies created by the merger.<\/p>\n<p>NorthWest Copper released the second batch of assay results from the expansion and confirmation drill program at the Kwanika copper-gold project in the heart of British Columbia\u2019s Golden Triangle (See Exhibit 1).<\/p>\n<p>As was the case with previous results, drilling to the north continues to expand the near-surface footprint of mineralization.<\/p>\n<p>With high-grade starting on bedrock, the new assays continue to demonstrate the high-grade core of the deposit.<\/p>\n<h5>Exhibit 1. Orientation Map for Kwanika and Stardust Projects in British Columbia<\/h5>\n<div id=\"attachment_9209\" style=\"width: 690px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a class=\"media-image\" href=\"https:\/\/peartreecanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Exhibit-1-9-768x722.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-9209\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9209\" class=\"wp-image-9209\" src=\"https:\/\/peartreecanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Exhibit-1-9-768x722.jpg\" alt=\"Kwanika Continues to Grow\" width=\"680\" height=\"639\"><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-9209\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: NorthWest Copper Corp.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Highlight drill intercepts from the <a href=\"https:\/\/northwestcopper.ca\/news\/northwest-copper-adds-more-high-grade-drill-result-3602\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">September 28 press release<\/a> include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>* Hole K-21-212: 202.2m at 0.74% copper-equivalent (CuEq), including 45.8m at 1.57% CuEq;<\/li>\n<li>* K-21-213: 38.5m at 0.85% CuEq; and<\/li>\n<li>* K-21-214: 63.5m at 0.77% CuEq<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>(See the press release for metal price assumptions.)<\/p>\n<p>Kwanika appears unique in having a distinct and coherent, high-grade zone of mineralization and having it come close to the surface.<\/p>\n<h3>The Significance<\/h3>\n<p>Drillhole K-21-212 returned higher grades than the surrounding block model grades especially noticeable at shallower depths (see Exhibit 2). This mineralization appears to be outside of previously modeled high-grade blocks, suggesting potential for resource growth.<\/p>\n<h5>Exhibit 2. Similar to hole K -1-212, the block model in this area, is expected to show increased resources.<\/p>\n<h5>Exhibit 3. &nbsp;Cross-Sectional View Showing K-21-213 Returning Higher Grades than the Block Model<\/h5>\n<div id=\"attachment_9215\" style=\"width: 778px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a class=\"media-image\" href=\"https:\/\/peartreecanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Exhibit-3-e1633625548276-768x538.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-9215\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9215\" class=\"wp-image-9215 size-medium_large\" src=\"https:\/\/peartreecanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Exhibit-3-e1633625548276-768x538.jpg\" alt=\"Kwanika Continues to Grow\" width=\"768\" height=\"538\"><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-9215\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: NorthWest Copper Corp.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Similar to the results from the previous two holes, hole K-21-214 returned higher grade intercepts in the upper part of the hole compared to the existing blocks.<\/p>\n<p>Importantly all drill holes have their highest-grade intervals starting at or close to the bedrock surface, according to the company.<\/p>\n<p>In line with NorthWest Copper\u2019s high-grade growth strategy, the 2021 Kwanika drill program focuses on expanding and improving understanding of the best grade material.<\/p>\n<p>NorthWest has similarly focussed on the high-grade portions of the Stardust Deposit since the company was created in March (see Exhibit 4).<\/p>\n<p>The encouraging near-surface results in the north part of the Kwanika Deposit continue to enhance and expand near-surface, high-grade mineralization. Recent drilling has provided significant intercepts where the company previously reported no grade or low grades in the model.<\/p>\n<p>The company intersected mineralization in all holes directly below overburden, with the most substantial intercepts associated with porphyritic monzonite and strong potassic alteration.<\/p>\n<p>The alteration associated with high-grade mineralization includes intense quartz stockwork veining with chalcopyrite and minor bornite. Zones of moderate grade mineralization occur in monzonite, monzodiorite and diorite. &nbsp;Alteration is moderate potassic alteration and quartz veining grading into propylitic alteration locally with zones of mineralized potassic alteration occurring as vein and fracture selvages Feldspar porphyry dykes cut this intrusive complex.<\/p>\n<h5>Exhibit 4. Throughout the drill program to date, NorthWest has encountered grades higher than adjacent resource blocks, which should favourably affect the upcoming resource statement, as well as the proposed Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) early in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The near-surface results, along with a set of deeper holes still to be released, will support an updated Kwanika resource planned for release before year-end and follows shortly on the expanded high-grade Stardust resource in May.<\/p>\n<p>Results from deeper and step-out drilling at Kwanika, Stardust, and first-pass drilling at the nearby East Niv drill program remain pending.<\/p>\n<p>NorthWest continues to unlock value by de-risking the high-grade Stardust-Kwanika projects. The two neighbouring assets are expected to drive enhanced synergies in any potential mine plan the company develops.<\/p>\n<h3>Company Highlights<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Relatively new company focused on unlocking value through the combination of the Stardust underground and Kwanika open-pit and underground operations;<\/li>\n<li>Stardust has an existing Mineral Resource comprising:\n<ul>\n<li>Indicated: 1.96 million tonnes grading 2.59% CuEq, for 112.1 million pounds of CuEq<\/li>\n<li>Inferred: 5.84 million tonnes grading 1.88% CuEq for 242.2 million pounds CuEq<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Kwanika\u2019s large scale complements Stardust\u2019s high grades<\/li>\n<li>Favourable metallurgy for Stardust-Kwanika project<\/li>\n<li>Pipeline of earlier-stage projects:\n<ul>\n<li>The potential new discovery at East Niv where 2,700m of Phase 1 drilling is underway<\/li>\n<li>Lorraine \u2013 large land package, existing high-grade trends, potential synergy with Kwanika-Stardust<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Part of the Oxygen Capital group of companies<\/li>\n<li>Substantial ownership by insiders and associates (over 20%)<\/li>\n<li>Strong institutional investment following<\/li>\n<li>Teck Resources owns
